Dr. Marsha V. McCray is a multidisciplinary artist, author, chef, educator, entrepreneur, and proud United States Air Force veteran whose life's work is centered on inspiring others through creativity, education, and service.
As the founder of ArtbyMButterfly Art Studio & Event Centers, Dr. McCray has created more than an art studio—she has built a welcoming creative community where people of all ages can explore their imagination, discover new talents, and experience the joy of artistic expression. Her vision is to provide a place where creativity flourishes, friendships are formed, and every visitor feels encouraged to create without limits.
Her artistic style reflects her appreciation for nature, transformation, culture, and storytelling. Butterflies have become a meaningful symbol throughout her work, representing hope, resilience, growth, and the beautiful transformation that comes from embracing life's journey. Hummingbirds reflect joy, perseverance, and finding beauty in every season of life.
Beyond the studio, Dr. McCray is passionate about mentoring youth, supporting families, collaborating with community organizations, and creating educational experiences that empower people through the arts.
