PETALS My petals are soft, and they absorb all the lights of the world. There is beautify in my scars; each one bares a colorful story and a sacred memory. My stem is rooted in rocky soil full or rare gems that the world has yet to see. With every stroke of a new hue, I become more rare. I can see the lights the illuminate my path. I feel the lights that warm my body and natures cry gives me life. When the darkness falls upon me, I look to the light, and I rise to give it praise for it protects me. I’m strong enough to stay intact in the strongest of storms, yet delicate enough to float when I fall and not sink, for I know that the hands that will hold me has strengthened my stem, minded my roots and guarded my seeds and it will give me a forever home and make me while again.
